Description

Traditional Polish cookies with a delicate flavor and crispy texture, perfect for holidays and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon ammonia
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat the softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, ammonia, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  6. Shape small balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until they are golden.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on a rack before serving.
