Description
Faworki, also known as chrust, are delicious sweet pastries popular in Poland, ideal for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour with the egg yolks.
- Knead the dough.
- Roll out the dough into thin rectangles.
- Cut into strips and twist into faworki.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Fresh faworki are best enjoyed immediately after frying. Store leftovers in an airtight container in a dry place.
