Kremówka Papieska is a delicious dessert that combines crispy puff pastry with rich custard and whipped cream, made famous by Pope John Paul II.

- 1 package puff pastry
- 500 ml heavy cream (30% fat)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 400 g vanilla pudding
- 500 ml milk
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden. Let it cool.
- In a bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Prepare the pudding according to the package instructions, then let it cool.
- Once the pudding is cold, gently fold it into the whipped cream.
- Spread half of the cream mixture over the cooled puff pastry, cover with the second half of the pastry, and then top with the remaining mixture. Finally, dust with powdered sugar.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
