Traditional Polish potato dish, hearty and easy to prepare, perfect as a side or main course.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–5 medium potatoes
- 1 onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Peel and grate the potatoes. Chop the onion and sauté in a pan until golden.
- In a bowl, mix grated potatoes, sautéed onion, eggs, flour, and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40-50 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.
- Serve warm as a side or main dish.
Notes
Best served hot; can be accompanied by sour cream, mushroom sauce, or salad.
