Description

Traditional Polish potato dish, hearty and easy to prepare, perfect as a side or main course.


Ingredients

  • 45 medium potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the potatoes. Chop the onion and sauté in a pan until golden.
  2. In a bowl, mix grated potatoes, sautéed onion, eggs, flour, and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40-50 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.
  5. Serve warm as a side or main dish.

Notes

Best served hot; can be accompanied by sour cream, mushroom sauce, or salad.
