Description

A nostalgic Polish cheesecake with a chocolate layer, combining the flavors of classic cheesecake and chocolate cake.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 500g ricotta or farmer’s cheese
  • 200g sugar
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients at room temperature.
  2. Melt the butter and mix it with sugar and cocoa powder.
  3. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  4. In a baking pan, layer the chocolate mixture on the bottom and pour the cheese mixture on top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for about 60 minutes.
  6. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Feel free to add almonds on top or chocolate chunks for extra flavor.
